In this view select the roof and then view linework lw line style choose hidden line or other type you wnt to use and click border line of the roof. A common house roof pitch is 5 by 12 which means it slopes up from the wall at 5 inches per foot. If the angle changes too much when you zoom in go to view at the top left then click on reset at the bottom of the drop down menu then click tilt. The way to get the dashed lines above is to underlay the level above so you can see the edge of the roof.

The reverse hybrid of a hipped and a gable roof. A hybrid of a gable and a hipped roof. Premade roofing trusses will be easier and take less time than installing a stick built roof. The colour and material of the roof complement the structural integrity of a building.

The roof level appear on the view. A clerestory roof has an interior wall built extending above one section of the roof with this section of wall often lined with several windows or one long window. Now the underlay can be turned off leaving only the dashed lines of the roof above showing. Poorly constructed roofs endanger the people living in a building so you need to make the roof compatible to the rest of the building in a well engineered style.

Then use the linework tool and select the edges of the roof to create a dashed line. A hipped roof is sloped in two pairs of directions e g. N s or e w for a gable roof. Zoom in on the roof then select tools at the top left then select ruler.
