If this is the case the easiest solution is to select the room group it change reference level under properties while still in group and then ungroup.
Room not visible through roof revit.
This might flag that the room starts at a higher level than your cut plane.

I m working on a church we have about 4 floor levels the entrance is at 0 elevation then the main area slopes about down to the lowest level at 30 elevation which is the sanctuary.
All the other rooms on this floor are visible.
The room is placed because i can see it in the section just not in any of the plan views.
I have a rouge room.
When using the room tag command in a revit host model there is no room displayed to tag from the linked model the phase of the view in the host model does not match the phase that the room was created in.
The rest of the floor plate is open office.
If the upper limit and offset are specified beyond the level above the roof the vertical boundary of the space will snap to the roof even though the upper limit is higher than the roof.
This makes the roof line visible in the plan view but the lines appear as solid lines.
If the spaces are not visible with them turned on in v g ensure that the cut plane is cutting through the spaces as they will not show unless this is so.
Put a section through the room go to the section view and make sure the room has it interior fill checked.
Weird problem i m not sure how to explain it.
Take care to place room separation lines so they connect with the loc line of walls.
I have assigned each room to a department visibility graphics override rooms colour fill interior fill turned on is it something in visibility or type properties i have something wrong in many thanks.

Revit displays the modify linework contextual ribbon.
The rooms do show up in the room schedule i just tried deleting them from the schedule and placing them again in the plan but it gives me the same message that the element i created does not show up in this view.
If the cut plane on you lighting plan is at 0 change it to 1 2 someting higher than 0 so that it slices through the bottom of the spaces.
We are using scope boxes.
All rooms show in their appropriate plans if i turn on interior fill in vg except the 6th floor open office room and tag.
If the phase names differ between the host and link check the phase mapping setup for the link.
Room separation lines should not be placed on top of other walls when things don t work.
In the view properties expand the underlay drop down and select the level on which the roof was created to display as an underlay.
